Saral Jeevan India Foundation (SJIF) is a CSR-compliant non-profit dedicated to creating 'Saral Jeevan' or 'Easy Life' for rural communities with a special focus on underserved farmers and women registered under Section 25 of Companies Act 1956 (Section 8 Companies Act 2013).
Set up with a noble vision to give something back to the society, SJIF collaborates with donors and on-ground implementation partners to empower rural farmers and rural women as champions of change in their communities!

Our Key Initiatives
AI Skilling
Saral Jeevan India Foundation, in partnership with Microsoft CSR, runs a national initiative called She Leads Bharat, which focuses on enabling rural women to become financially independent entrepreneurs and leaders within their communities. As part of this broader vision, SJIF and Microsoft are developing a localized AI curriculum designed for rural women entrepreneurs and micro-enterprises, with the goal of making AI practical, accessible, and directly useful for improving livelihoods.
Women Empowerment under Nand Ghar
Leveraging AI-powered Meri Saheli App (MSA) and Anil Agarwal Foundation’s digital infrastructure at Nand Ghars, Saral Jeevan India Foundation is working to convert Anganwadi Centres into vibrant hubs of rural entrepreneurship and women-led livelihoods.
Vocational Training and Scholarship
In partnership with Saint Gobain, Saral Jeevan India Foundation is working on the The Learn While Earn (LWE) program which is a vocational training and scholarship initiative designed to empower students from rural and underprivileged backgrounds by providing access to modern manufacturing practices.
Farmer Empowerment
Providing specialized training in Permaculture and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices to farmers across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with reputed organizations. It also leads initiatives to set up Farmer Producer Collectives for agricultural and allied product producers.
Income Elevation of Rural Women
Identifying, onboarding and training rural women entrepreneurs to become digitally capable businesses and driving their income elevation by introducing them to new income earning opportunities while serving their communities through a technology powered platform
Women Empowerment & Sustainable Livelihoods
Empowering rural women entrepreneurs through digital and financial inclusion as the backbone of last-mile delivery, driving economic growth and access to essential services in their communities. Elevating and diversifying women incomes by unlocking market linkages for them to earn by selling different products and services using an online commerce platform
Needs Assessment at Rural Last Mile
Initiating surveys and profiling of rural women led shops to understand their needs and gaps through tech enabled survey tools
Unlocking Access to Finance to Rural Women
Providing returnable grants to identified small women led businesses to support their business expansion and establish their credit worthiness, helping them unlock access to formal finance in the long run.
